If the molecule is non-polar, the multiple bonds (double bonds and triple bonds) do not affect the polarity of molecules, because the dipole moment of the molecule is zero.

If the molecule is polar, the multiple bonds affect the polarity of molecules, because X=Y double bond and X≡Y triple bond are polar than X-Y single bond.
