Why can we not simply use Φ = E⃗ ⋅dA⃗ to find the flux through the square located in the YZ plane?

A) Because Φ = E⃗ × dA⃗ .

B) Because the area is unbounded.

C)Because the electric field is not constant.

But A and B are probably wrong, so I'd recommend "C."
