Poll: Where di you meet your significant other and how old were you?

I met my partner in the bath club on 69th Street and Flaccid Ave. here in Des Moines, IA. My boyfriend Danny is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. We'll lay there in bed and pet each others heads and talk about how work was and about bigoted republicans.

We went to two different colleges and we met on spring break at the beach. I was a weak swimmer plus had too much to drink and I got caught in an undertow. He was watching from the shore and jumped in to save me. We've been married 40 years. Very true story. He was 22 and I was 21.

today and i was 89

As crazy as it is. I actually met him when I was 16 going on 17 in the psych ward of a hospital. (Really rough childhood filled with abuse and other issues. Tried to kill myself). He was my first and only love. I'm 28 now, still with him and married with a kid. Happier then ever. I'm glad I'm still breathing.

I was 21 and hadn't been in the army very long!
