Why is it important to ask so much about life after death?

If you believe in Heaven/Hell, then it matters. Most people ask about it just for curiosity though. Not for what I said!

To some people it matters that much, a motivation to do good while living on earth. That there could be more after

death. It wouldn't make sense if you were to just pass on, without wondering why you have life in the first place?

Which an afterlife is what I believe.

Most people want to know what to expect... in any case and not just death... and the presumption isn't always nonexistence.

If it certainly is not nonexistence, there is info to be had... and therein lies why people inquire.

That's true, but it doesn't make it any less interesting. If you believe nothing happens after death, now's your only chance to wonder otherwise and talk about this belief with others.
