Is it normal for girls to fart after sex?

Yes that is a normal biological function of the body. Women are taught from a young age (from their mothers) that farting is unlady like and you shouldn't do it around others.

Which is a courtesy thing. Men however, understand that farting is natural and aren't as uptight about it, which is why we think it's funny, and why people laugh at fart jokes.

Of course it is possible. There was a penis pushing things around inside them. Lots of moving parts can move gas pockets around.

However, what is more likely the culprit, was air which had become trapped inside the vagina during sex. That happens a lot during sex if you pull out and re-enter frequently.

Not all that unusual. GF that I worked with farted during sex. She stiffened, turned red, grabbed her clothes, and left. Nothing I said stopped her. She was so embarrassed, that she wouldn't even look at me at work. She soon quit, and even relocated. I really felt sorry for her. It ruined her! It's NOT a big deal. Happens to everybody sooner of later.

It may have been the vagina doing that. It's normal.

As Stephen mentioned, air can enter the vagina due to the involved thrusting, and when it exits again it may sound like a fart.

You'll find that sex involves lots of funny noises and a few messy things that you don't get to see in movies. Just don't mind them.
