Lightroom amateur?

I want to get into photography. I am not licensed of any sort but I would like to buy light room the full version, I'm just curious if I'm going to need some kind of license to purchase this or to even set it up on my computer. Someone said the serial number is the license number is that right???

We don't need no stinking Badges!!....... Old joke.... No, you don't need to have some official sanction to buy and use it. You buy a legal copy, enter the enclosed serial number and you will have a "licensed copy". That's all.

There is no license to practice photography.
