Are genital herpes lesions always visible?

I haven't had sex in over a year but I've had this cluster of bumpy pimples on my left side groin area near my thigh. They never change in appearance and have been there for about 3 months without going away. I don't have any other symptoms such as fever or swollen lymphnodes. I do occasionally get an HSV-1 outbreak on my lip every year but these pimples are new.

No genital herpes does heal up and go away, break outs they're not always visible.
What you have doesn't sound like herpes. You would also have some itching, burning and or tingling symptoms if you had it. Also swollen lymph nodes and fever can be symptoms of other things besides herpes. Also you can have HSV1 on your mouth with out having herpes on your genitals.
What you have sounds more like it could be genital warts, or some type of infection.
You should see a doctor and get it checked out to be sure.
