They are all nice, big cars built on very rugged platforms. Both caprice and crown vic platforms have been used as police and taxi vehicles for a long time and are tops in reliability. The park avenue doesn't share that pedigree but is still a nice, more luxurious car than the other two. I'd prefer the caprice myself, but that's just me.

Bud or Miller; kleenex or puffs; goodyear or firestone; my point is that asking 10 people, will get you 10 different answers. the caprice and crown vic are good rear wheel drive vehicals that are often used as commercial vehicals (police, taxi, etc..) the park ave is front wheel drive, and while more luxury, it is less brute. it all depends what you intend to do with this car.

Ford Crown Victoria. It is one of the very few full-size, rear-drive sedans that never left. The "Crown Vic" moniker goes back several decades to when Ford adopted the name for a high-line trim level on the full-size LTD sedan, as baby boomers and their elders no doubt recall. The Ford Crown Victoria has made its case as one of the more prominent models under the banner. While most in its class get by on mediocre performance and cookie-cutter looks, the Ford Crown Victoria steps up with a smoothly-styled body and the added "punch" to match. Drivers from all backgrounds have found reasons why they covet this car.

The Park Avenue. The motor will get many more miles with less maintenance.
