Can I fix these lines from the DVD player that are going across the screen?

These just randomly appeared and it's like that with all the DVDs now. I have a Sony DVD player

You can replace the HDMI cable that goes from the player to the TV and see if that works. You can also try another HDMI input on the TV, to see if it's the first input on the TV that has failed.
And, you can try it with another TV, and see if the problem is in the TV. This is all basic trouble shooting.
