A force of 10N causes a spring to extend by 20mm . Find :

A. The spring constant of the spring in N/m
k = F/x = 10*1000/20 = 500 N/m

B. The extension of the spring when 25N is applied
x = F/k = 25/500 = 50/1000 = 0.050 m (50 mm)

C. The force applied that causes an extension of 5mm
F = k*x = 500*0.005 = 2500/1000 = 2.5 N

for A and B use the equation F=kx
F = force applied in N
k = spring constant
x = extension in Meters

for B use the same spring constant and calculate the extension(x) because it is the same spring and spring constant does not change for a given spring.

I have no idea on C, sorry
