PS4 broken?

Ok so all of a ******* sudden my PS4 won't take discs... I did absolutely nothing to it; I didn't mod it, take it apart or drop it. I tried turning it on its side with the disc drive facing up and restarting the ps4 from the safe menu but nothing is working! Any tips or am I going to be stuck with a broken $400 console? By not taking discs I mean the disc drive is completely locked up, I don't mean it doesn't scan discs.
