what are the chances a condom doesn't work?

The manufactures claims and the claims of all the single teens having babies around her, don't jive. Seems everybody had a condom failure as the reason they are with child.
Funny, I used them for over twenty years as birth control with my wife, didn't twice while we were trying for my daughter, never had any issue, just wish it took more then twice though.
it might if it was 'made in china'.....
If used properly, the chance of a condom failing is around 1-2% (depending on the source of the study).
However, it has to be used correctly, otherwise the probability of the condom failing goes up significantly.
It depends on the condom and how it was put on.
I knew a fellow once with 7 kids. Said he had one for each birth control product that didn't work.
Unless you put it on wrong, or it breaks - the chances are low.
