My 4 year old cat has been peeing on the bathroom rug the past few days. I am starting to get worried. Should I bring her to the vet? Or should I wait and see if she keeps doing it? She has done it 2 times in the past 3 days. What should I do?

This may be a sign of a bigger issue. Peeing in unusual spots is often a sign of stress. Think if anything new has happened in the house, or if you have given her anything new. Cats are pretty sensitive to stress and new things (mine are anyway). I do think you should take her to the vet ASAP though because the sooner you found out the better. Please do not wait much longer! Also, make sure the litterbox is clean and she has easy access to it.

Let her out more often and get a light coloured rug instead, if it looks less like dirt then she's less likely to pee on it.

Call the vet on Monday - that is a symptom of a urinary tract infection. Easy to diagnose and cheap to treat.

No it's a cat not a human so that's in there natural
