Advice/help on living and working overseas at 19?

Hey guys, my names jordan from Australia, im 19, 2 years out of school. I've done a student exchange program in Ohio, USA when i was 16 and then last year i went to Texas for 3 months working at a summer camp and then ended up travelling around Texas for another month, then LA after that for another month again, and finally Europe for 3 weeks.

I am currently a Team Manager at a Kmart Department store and seem to be going nowhere in the next few years as i have no idea of what i want to do.

Now while i was working in Texas, i met this amazing girl, shes from El Salvador, she speaks fluent Spanish but has an american accent and actually studies Pre-Med at a university in San Antonio. We have fallen Madly in love with eachother, i wont bore you with the details, but she means the absolute world to me, shes extremely smart and beautiful. Long distance isn't my thing, but i have made an exception for her, especially when she came and visited me over this past Christmas break.

Now i am looking at living over there in preferably San Antonio, if not Austin, which is closest. And i was wondering are there any types of programs that allow someone to just do basic work and live in these parts of the US? Or what type of Job am i best to get in these 2 cities? and what type of Housing should i be looking at? an apartment for myself or like renting a room? i just want to live over there for a short time and spend some time with her... I am truly, deeply in love with her.

To get a work visa you need a job lined up. The only temporary job you can get is one like you had, a summer camp job.
