Not only...but also的用法?

stay in classroom (留在課室裏)
或
go to the playground (往操場去)
是兩個選擇你只可以做一樣的情況，因此不能說成Not only ... but also (不但可以...但同時又可以)的處境。

因此這種只可二選其一的情況，最簡單的連接詞是：
You can either stay in the classroom or go to the playground during the break.

至於not only ... but also則要注意內容所講的兩樣選擇必須在現實上可以兩樣都做，不過注意這兩樣事在句子的處境中未必一定要同時做的，但所講述的環境能夠容許便可以了。

Welcome to my birthday party, you not only can drink all the beverages but also eat all the food provided.

In this amusement park, not only can you enjoy the mechanical rides, but also visit the zoo to see exotic animals. [註："can you" 沒有寫錯的，這是一種強調的倒裝的寫法=you can，並不是"問題"。]
