I think I just saw someone get robbed...?

So I was in bed asleep when I heard arguing. I thought that it couldnt be my parents, so I check outside because it sounded as if it was in my backyard. It wasnt, and I see that it was in my neighbors backyard and I can see for the most part. So here is how the story went from what I heard. This man, goes through the back gate of someones backyard, I dont know who, maybe someone who has worked on the house or a gardener. This lady, the owner of the house argues that he cant go into her backyard like that and it isnt his ladder. She says its her brothers, but the man keeps saying its his. At this point, its pretty loud and some of her family comes out. She uses threats that she has the lisense plate number of his truck, and that they are calling the cops but doesnt care. He suddenly picks up the ladder, and walks toward the back gate. At this point, I cant see too well since I can see half of the scene because of the fence but from what I comprehend, this man most likely either used the ladder to hit the lady, or just used fists. I can tell someone was getting hurt because I could hear kids screaming "DONT HURT MY MOM!" It was crazy, I go to get my phone, and at the point I started recording. The man already exits the gate, two people, I think the lady and daughter were there. You can see a truck in the background, and im not kidding, this looked planned. This guy throws the ladder in the truck, jumps in, and someone speeds off. I got a video of the truck driving away with him
