Is this safe? (Driving)?

I got my first car recently, it's a stick shift. I'm a 16 year old girl and I want to be able to drive it because I can't drive my parents's cars plus it's a great skill. Nobody seems to have time to drive with me and I know the basics..is it safe to practice by myself? (I have a license) like since I basically know what to do can I drive by myself around the neighborhood to build up my skill or should I wait to have a parent? Thanks!

if you already have a license that means you already did the practice hours, right? So why should you need someone to be in the car with you as long as you're confident in your driving capability?

As long as you know how to drive a stick shift. If you don't know how to drive a stick then you'll have to have someone teach you because it's very different from automatic.

By having a license they decided you were safe to drive. If you feel you want better skill s get some advanced lessons from a driving school.

Don't drive on the street until you at least have some practice. If there is a large parking lot nearby. Take it there and drive away from obstacles. You will get it in time. Good skill to know.
