Can my Macbook Pro get damaged from being shipped in cold temperatures?

My Macbook Pro w/ Retina is supposed to be delivered tomorrow; the low is going to be -8 and the high 5 Fahrenheit. Is it possible my Macbook could get damaged from this sitting on the UPS truck? When I get it, how long should I wait to turn it on?

I just want to make sure I don t damage anything. Thanks.

Never run it after being in the cold. There can be condensation and other mechanical issues, especially with the HDD.
A general rule of thumb is to let the laptop sit for about 2 hours at room temperature. If it is colder outside, give it a couple of hours more - to be safe...

No. Just let it warm up to room temperature before turning it on. It will be fine.
