What would happen if I was to try and catch an air plane thats crashing in my exact spot?

It depends on the size of the airplane. You might successfully catch it but if the rubber-band is still spinning the propeller you could cut your hand!

If it is a paper airplane, you should be fine. If it is an actual plane such as Boeing 747, you will be crushed.
