1. A block has a mass of 40.0 grams, The dimensions of the block are 5.00 cm x 2.00 cm x 2.00 cm. What is density of the block?

2. A gold necklace has a volume of 3 cm3. Gold has a density of 19.3 g/cm3. What is the mass of the necklace?

3. Chris has two gold colored nuggets that look identical. However, the density of the first nugget is 4.2 g/cm3 and the second nugget is 19.3 g/cm3. Are the nuggets made of the same substance?

1.
(40.0 g) / (5.00 cm x 2.00 cm x 2.00 cm) = 2.00 g/cm^3

2.
(2.00 g/cm^3) x (5.00 cm x 2.00 cm x 2.00 cm) = 40.0 g
[which shouldn't come as a surprise since you were given the mass]

3. [This isn't a question.]

4. The source below says 2712 kg/m^3, which equivalent to 2.712 g/cm^3
So whatever it is you've got that has a density of 2.00 g/cm^3, it's not aluminum.
