In terms of mod cons, it would be quite modern. Some cars from the year 2011 had fancy gizmos such as iPod compatibility, integrated Bluetooth, MP3 compatibility, front and side airbags and satellite navigation not as optional extras, but as standard. Integrated Bluetooth on a car made when Bluetooth was brand new would probably work on a brand new phone, such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 or the Apple iPhone 6S.

n general, new cars do lose value quickly. But due to a variety of factors, prices on used cars are indeed high right now. As with many personal finance rules of thumb, the “new cars drop in value the moment you drop them off the lot” guideline isn’t true all the time. Your specific circumstances may differ. In your town, the car you’re looking for might hold its value better (or worse) than average.

Its mostly about miles, age would only factor in significantly after 20 years from newer models.
