When I win the lottery I want to buy a senator and 2 congressmen, anybody know what they cost these days?

2 Senators and a Congressman are much more than you can afford with only a Billion Dollar prize. You'd be competing against the Koch Bros and George Soros that can outbid that.

More than the Powerball is worth unless you take the annuity and sign it all over to them every year. Then you might have a slight chance of having laws passed that benefit you (as long as there is something in it for them). Otherwise, you'd have to be worth several billion.

Depends on which ones you are interested in and what committees they are on.

Anywhere from a few hundred thousand for a junior congressman, to 10 or 20 million for a senior senator.
