Can someone tell me what game is this?

Ok saw a guy at my friends house play this game but I forgot to bother ask what game it is.

He was in this editor which kind of reminded me of spore s spaceship editor in which he built a rocket. Then he launched it, dropping pieces of the rocket along the way and went into orbit. Then he went to a little pod and took control of a little green guy in a spacesuit and flew it to the rocket he put in orbit and then he reentered and landed at the spot he launched from, but only a tiny bit from the tip of the rocket.
