In my opinion if it's small that's fine, and if it doesn't come out looking fake, like no one would be able to tell you weren't just born that way. My nose has a slight arch or bump in the middle and it bugs me, someday I just want a small surgery to make my nose straight. Which is very common, lots of people get nose surgeries because of bumps. I would feel more confident about my looks if it wasn't there, so my profile would look softer and more feminine. If I thought it would look unnatural I'd never do it, in fact my bump looks like it isn't supposed to be there. What you can almost always tell is fake though are lip injections, breast implants, and too much botox. You gotta be careful with your looks, think carefully and be reasonable. If you keep on changing more and more of what you dislike, it will turn out bad and unnatural. And then there's no going back! There are celebrities who have had a crazy amount of surgeries but they looked better before. So I think it's something a person should carefully think about before having anything major done.

Generally I'm of the opinion that people should learn to accept themselves rather than resort to surgery, although in some cases I recognize that that's not possible. For these people undergoing cosmetic surgery can significantly improve their lives. In cases where people are born with obvious physical deformities, surgery can also be life changing.

most of the time it isn't necessary.

I think it's an addiction. Once you do one thing it starts a chain of correcting what the doctors say is wrong.
Your beautiful naturally
