Not sure if "addicted" is the correct term, but we all seem to have one or more coping method that we depend upon to help us through. Usually a distraction from our current worries. I know I always do. I can eschew one for another when necessary so I wouldn't consider any of one them an addiction.

I used to smoke cigarettes. I was TOTALLY addicted for 40 years. I was not only addicted to nicotine, but whatever other (dozens or hundreds of) chemicals Marlboro puts into their cigs. I could smoke two other branded cigs and still be craving a Marlboro red.

I finally gave them the slip. I had to quit drinking to have the self control to quit smoking it turns out. Now I am more into music appreciation, television, and the internet.

Is everyone addicted to at least one thing?

~~~ Yes!
So, that being quite normal, I wouldn't get stressed over it, unless it is negatively impacting your day to day life.
When YOU feel that it is a 'problem' is when it IS a problem!
Then you 'adjust your dosage', or ween.
Am I addicted to 'oxygen'?
Take it away and who knows what I might do to get the next fix!
Perhaps murder?
That sounds like an addiction, to me.
Now we can move on to 'water'... *__-
How about cell phone/tracking devices?
Video games?
Yahoo answers?
How about mental addictions?
Life is filled with 'human behavior', common, unnoticeable... until someone gets 'crazy' (out of the 'norm') and attention is drawn.
Then you get the shaky addicted fingers come pointing to that 'other' (and not at me!), in judgment and blame (for being human!)!
I think that those in denial ("I don't have no addictions!") are far more insidious then we simple functioning 'addicts'.
I do not define myself as an addict, and certainly will not let a bunch of 'greyfaces' define me, either!
At LEAST 'one' thing! *__-
Probably. I'm addicted to Yahoo Answers trying to score 200 points a day if possible. I'm 66 points short with only 3 hours to go.
Probably either has, is, or will be at least one thing in each person's life to learn what the will power is all about. Or relate to the story of too much, and too little not being just right. I think it starts young, and we grow with it, and it's likely to change things, and the reason all the same due to stress, possibly.
No. I am addicted to anything I do more than twice except gambling. Odd really how I can't relate to gambling but I am willing to commit slow suicide in 90 other areas of my life.
No everyone is not an addict. Now if you want to talk OCD, everybody is OCD about something.
I work with drug addictions on a daily basis so this question is a little different for me. It is all in the definition. I think in general we all have our additions/vises/OCD objects, etc. We all have things that comfort us. It can even be a person. A true addition is detrimental and makes it where you cannot be happy without it. You also can't live healthy with it. Whether it be drugs or foods, or people, it is according how you prioritize things in your life that makes it an addition. I do believe we can enjoy our comforts as long as we do so in moderation and within the law.
Well, yes and no.
If your talking about being addicted to things you need to survive, such as oxygen, then yes. We all need that to live, but I'm not so sure it can be considered an 'addiction' if your talking about things like cigarettes or alcohol, which you do not need to survive. So yes, we are all addicted to something, but not all addictions are necessarily 'bad'; for instance being addicted to oxygen. If your talking about addictions we are born with, yes we are all addicted to something. But if your talking about things we become addicted to, then no, not everyone is addicted to something.
I do not think so. Everyone has some strong feelings about some things, but not all of our desires will mount to the level of an addiction. For me, I do not think that I have an addition to anything.
Answer is no. No one is addicted to at least one thing.
I am not addicted to anything.
When I like things, I accept.
When I dislike things, I don't accept.
What the most important thing is - I keep self confidence.
Self confidence is not a addiction.
This keeps me free from addiction.
No one should be addict. addiction is a wrong phenomenon.
Small children keep one thing in mind and do the activities. when their mind catches another, the forget the first. It is said that you should be confident of you. This is possible only when the child develops mental fitness. So with fitness of mind we can do meditation and kill all addictions.
Answer is no. No one is addicted to at least one thing. If they have addiction in one thing , it is not sure that they must have had another addiction also.
