how can i download audacity.com on my chrome book?

Every time i try to download audacity on my chrome book, it say that it isn't compatible with my devise. It tells me to look in the chrome app store but the store doesn't have it.

Audacity is not compatable with the Chrome Book. You can only download apps for the Chrome Book from their Store.
That is the problem with the Chrome Book - It is not a full featured computer. It has limitiations.

There is no ready-built release of Audacity for the Chrome OS.
You would have to install a C compiler and build the Linux version on the machine.
- The chromium OS is based on a version of Linux so it should be reasonably compatible.
The instructions for the C compiler are here:

And the Audacity source package is with the other downloads, here:
http://audacityteam.org/download/
