facebook problem with forwarding images?

on facebook, when i try to forward an image it says no result under the search place, so i type in my friends name and tick her as the person i want to forward it to, however it doesn't send no matter how many times i try. Other times when a list of people pop up on the place where "no result" appeared last time, and i tick her name, it works. Why's that?
