If you could use one word to describe veganism what would it be?
For me it would be peace. How about for you?

Dishonest. Veganism is built on lies.
You won't live longer.
Save any animal's lives.
We're not herbivores.
Manufactured supplements are required.
We've been eating meat for millions of years.
You won't have better skin, be prettier, smarter or be morally superior.
Etc, etc.
"Ineffective" would be my term.
I guess the purpose is to save animal lives, via not consuming meat?
Well, park rangers are going to exterminate hundreds of bison due to overpopulation... so refraining from eating meat does not do anything whatsoever the end.
It doesn't stop seal clubbing.
It doesn't stop ivory harvesting.
It doesn't stop alligator purses or fur coats.
It doesn't save manatees that are killed by boating in Florida or whales killed by brain-shattering military sonar.
I'll get thumbs-down for my cynical-but-honest answer, but it is what it is.
I don't picture the farming industry going down because a few people refrain from eating meat and definitely don't see animals really being saved by it in difference-making numbers.
