Does Paul Konerko have a Hall of Fame resume? What s his chance?
People say Todd Helton is in and he only has 368 home runs. He does have a better average, but Paulie is a 6x all star, idk. What do you guys think?

Less chance than Dwight Evans, who had similar stats but also won 8 gold gloves and two silver slugger awards. As far as I'm concerned they should both be in the Hall, but the sportswriters have their own requirements and biases.
Paul Konerko Hall Of Fame
I don't think either of them will
Neither Helton nor Konerko is a Hall of Famer.
I'm a huge fan of Konerko. I own a No. 14 Sox jersey, in fact, but being very good is not enough to get a player into the Hall.
The Hall is for the all-time greats, like Frank Thomas.
Paul has no chance at all. I liked him a lot, but he will be one and done.
I wouldn't vote for Konerko. He was always very good, but aside from the power he offered little else. And even as a home run hitter, his total of 439 is only 42nd all time. Sabremetrics rank him as the 87th best first baseman of all time. He only led the league once in any category, and that was for grounding into double plays.
That's not a HOF caliber player, unless you start comparing him to people like Helton and only taking into account home runs. Helton, contrary to what people have been telling you, is not in. He still has three years to wait to get on a ballot. But Helton has a better shot. A much better average and a far superior defensive player.
IDK but IMO Todd Helton is not in.
Paul Konerko has no chance to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and he doesn't come close to deserving it, either. Helton was twice the player, because he got on base much more often and played excellent defense, and his peak years were better.
