Ok so i wanna buy a plasma tv from craigslist.?

The thing is well here is the ad

This tv is awesome. Great definition android size. It s a Panasonic 50" plasma. I m selling it because it needs a y board. You can get it from almost any tv repair place for about 40$ avarage.

The tv works fine but after about 30 min 1/4 of the screen gets blurry.

I contacted the guy and he said that a professional technician came and diagnosed the tv and said that the y board is what it needed.
From what i know a tv has two buffer boards and a main one also.
So i need to know if its a smart idea and exactly which board i would have to replace.

I wouldn't buy it. If it only needs a $40 repair they should do it and charge $140.

It will be a scam. If I were you I would forget about it. The tv more then likely isn't worth a nickel.

Leave it alone. It will cost more to fix than it is worth when you include shipping costs. And more than likely the seller is lying in the first place.

If you want to gamble, make a low ball offer. Do not offer more than $50. But you'd be better off buying a functioning TV.
