What does getting a tattoo feel like?

It all depends, everybody has a different pain tolerance and where at on your body you get the tattoo. My first tattoo was on my lower leg, it wasn't too bad. But my most recent tattoo is on my ribcage from my hip to my breast, slight stomach to my back and that one put my body into shock due to the pain (it also was a cover up so he was tattooing over scar tissue.) I've also got 2 on my hips, those weren't too bad. I'd say it depends on your pain tolerance for the most part. It feels like a sharp continous bee sting at first, it can also tickle at times but it'll eventually go numb.
Depends on where you get the tattoo on your body. Some places there is almost no pain. Other places it is very painful. A Tatoo artist can tell you where it hurts the most.
I got mine on my chest and it kinda felt like a nail scratching on my skin. The vibrations actually made it hurt a little more because it would vibrate in my neck and armpit and it wasn't fun. I think the worst part was the coloring in. Afterward it felt like a sunburn for the rest of the day.
It all depends on the area you get it on, some of mine were nothing it hurts a little at first like being pricked but once you've been sitting a while the area basically goes numb and you become used to it. If you get it on an area with bone it hurts so much more, my collar bone was probably the worst for me, when it hits that bone it felt like someone sawing it down to me. But it's not unbearable.
From what I've known...it feels like a cat scratch on a sunburn. Yesterday I finally managed to ask my cat to scratch me and at last I know how it feel. Its not that bad for me at least.
My first one was on my wrist. It felt like a continuous bee sting, in my opinion. It's tolerable. My second tattoo was on my calf and it wasn't very painful. Just feels like youre being scratched. Good luck! They're addictive
Everyone is different but depending on area, the artist themselves and your own pain threshold.
The most common feeling is it's like being scratched by a nail (or have you been scratched by a cat/dog? Sane feeling except extended)
All depends on where it is and how big it is i got my first tattoo at 15 on my upper arm by my shoulder and it didn't hurt one bit feels like your getting scratched by a nail personally and im 16 now about to get my ribs done you'll be fine trust me
It kind of feels like getting scratched by a cat
Kinda feels like a sunburn but it stops hurting after a short period until the artist goes over a spot again after it hasn't been touched in awhile
