“The shepherd boy says, ‘There’s this mountain of pure diamond. It takes an hour to climb it, and an hour to go around it. Every hundred years, a little bird comes. It sharpens its beak on the diamond mountain. And when the entire mountain is chiseled away, the first second of eternity will have passed.’” The Doctor.

There are an infinity of seconds in eternity. Obviously, you can only write this down using the infinity symbol. However, the number 2 is also a symbol, so it is not much different really. You can say a lot about infinity. For example, the infinity of whole numbers it twice the size of the infinity of odd numbers or even numbers. Naturally, the number of seconds in eternity is 60 times bigger than the number of hours.

Does that help you get your head around it?

If you want some other mind blowing maths, Google Cantor's diagonal slash.

Also consider this simple statement that shook the foundations of modern maths: "R is the set of all sets that are not members of themselves". It may take you a while to see the contradiction but it will help if you ask your self "what if R is or is not a member of itself?"

If there could be time in eternity, I guess it's so fast compared to our time here, so that it's fastness comes so hard to detect the passing of time.

Say, when you know it is morning, in just a snap of a finger it's morning again, that one could possibly not recognize succession of time; hence always Now, the eternal Now.

Since predictions are figured out in eternal dimension, this could be the reason why prediction could say that in the near future, this and this could happen. But basing on humans dimensional time, it takes for so many years before the prediction could happen, because of the difference of time in our dimension, than the time in eternal dimension.

Eternity goes on until infinity. Infinity never ends so how can you count the seconds in eternity if there is no end? It's impossible. As long as time exists as a human concept then the seconds will keep on being counted.

Countless. Uncountable.
A maximum of about 100 x 366 x 24 x 60 x 60 seconds is what an individual can himself experience.
