Intermittent fasting is healthy and helps you live longer. There are various types of fasting you can try out from leangains to the 5:2 diet. I prefer the leangains (16 fast/8 hour eating window) although I can easily fast longer than 16 hours.

"Potential health benefits of intermittent fasting diet include:

• Keeps the metabolism strong and healthy
• Increases fatty acid oxidation
• Reduces blood glucose levels
• Increases growth hormone levels
• Improves insulin sensitivity
• Helps build muscle and lose fat
• Removes toxins from the body
• Improves brain health
• Enhances physical performance
• Improves body composition
• Reduces the risk of cancer
• Increases fat burning
• Lowers blood pressure
• Improves appetite control
• Promotes cardiovascular health
• Stimulates cellular turnover and repair
• Reduces inflammation biomarkers
• Slows down the aging process"*

"I skip breakfast each day and eat two meals, the first around 1pm and the second around 8pm. Then, I fast for 16 hours until I start eating again the next day at 1pm.

Surprisingly, since I’ve started intermittent fasting I’ve increased muscle mass (up 10 pounds from 205 to 215), decreased body fat (down 3% from 14% to 11%), increased explosiveness (set a personal best with a clean and jerk of 253 pounds a few months back), and decreased the amount of time I’ve spent training (down from 7.5 hours per week to 2.5 hours per week).

In other words, I’m stronger, leaner, and more explosive even though I go to the gym less and eat less."**

Breakfast is important for metabolism so skipping it will prevent your body from triggering metabolism. You can eat just a small healthy thing on breakfast like an apple just to trigger your metabolism and let your body work. I always skip dinner and I know skipping meals in general isn't so good but breakfast is the most important meal

Breakfast helps me, personally - especially protein. But I do know several high-performing and apparently healthy people who skip. Do what works.

Personally i'd say no because i am the same as you. Since primary school, i have never had the time to eat breakfast because my school was far away so i had to travel long distances but also because when i wake up, im simply not hungry and you should eat when you're body wants it. Also, whenever i tried to force myself to eat breakfast i always feel sick. I never start eating till im hungry and i am in good shape for my age, so it hasnt affected me. I guess on the sciency side, breakfast is important because it energises you but this doesnt work for me - everyones different.
