Does my friend like me?

We were friends for a long time, so I wonder if she thinks of me more than that. First she can get really close that she touches me and not care. Also, she has flashed, but she was little back then and I told her to stop. Lastly when my friends and I did this "talk about each other thing" she said she couldn't find something that she hated about me, and that I wasn't mean, which is weird because everyone hates my awkwardness XD When she found out I had a crush on her friend, I'm not sure if she was jealous, but she basically told me that my crush was a bad person and that she was glad I moved on.

When she touches you, she doesn't care. When you liked someone else it didn't phase her. When she had the opportunity to say something nice about you, it was casual and not really substantial. The bad news: Though she may be reeeeeally good at hiding it or just have a nonchalant personality, she really just seems to not be interested in more than friendship right now. The good news: from what you wrote I can tell that she cares a lot about you and values your friendship. You've got yourself a great friend that you don't want to lose and doesnt want to lose you. Free Advice: wait until you can be around her without over thinking or longing. Be honest with yourself, give yourself space to accept the friendship so you can enjoy it. Also, keep in mind that if you let things happen naturally you two could end up together anyway, maybe soon! What you let go of usually always comes back to you unless it was replaced with something better.

I think your friend loves you as a friend. Its common to be protective of friends and there is a difference between being protective and being jealous.
