Reporting correspondence helps. Find a violation that you believe a trusted reporter is likely to flag. The fake Yahoo Support # spam is an example -- especially when you see it in this Yahoo Answers category (where lots of trusted reporters hang out). Keep reporting the spam, and eventually your trust-level will increase.Also, avoid category specific reporting. Report violations wherever you see them. Of course, you have to know the rules to be effective.

Consistent spam reporting Iike incessant tip spammers and obvious point gamers. Also, you won't know if you have reached that status, since several people may have reported the same violation already with yours being the final one needed for its removal. You don't receive any specific acknowledgment for services rendered gratis.
