Can I wear my shiny new scrubs to a CNA interview at a prestigious hospital?

I always hear "look the part" for a job interview, but everything online says wear a suit. Why would I wear a suit, besides the obvious, for a nursing assistant position?

I can see wearing a suit if it were for a clerical position within the hospital, but wearing a suit would not even make me feel like my best self.

No, you dress to show respect for the interviewer and the interview. Showing up in scrubs says I really don't care enough to wear appropriate clothing. It also says, gee I must have the job already and don't need to make an impression on anyone. You wear business type attire to any interview.

You need professional clothing. Doesn't need to be a suit, but it does need to be nice skirt and top or slacks and top at least. Dressing professionally conveys that you are respectful and interested in trying your best. Showing up in scrubs says, "I don't really care that much because this is just a CNA position and I would rather be comfy right now." Dress professionally.

Don't wear scrubs, no matter how clean and new. It doesn't have to be a suit, but it should be very nice business-style clothing.

No of course not. You have to look professional.
