How do I get over my ex girlfriend?

Similar to my situation when I was young! I had a beautiful girlfriend, my first kiss as well, dated for about a year, then she broke it off. I thought it was the end of the world! But once I stopped feeling sorry for myself, and started being myself again everything worked out. I wasn't trying to impress anyone and I met a girl and fell in love! we dated for four years then ended it. (went to different colleges) Now I am in love with my fiancée. The most beautiful and caring woman in the world! I guess what I am trying to get at, is that you are young! just be happy, be yourself an move on! it will all work out, TRUST ME! Being young doesn't automatically make it easy for you to get over someone you love.

Time is the only thing that can really help, and making that extra effort to indulge in loads of activities, and hanging out with good friends.

Fill your spare time up with as much stuff as you can. That way, you won't have time to think about your ex.

Time is the greatest healer.

Getting past your emotions toward someone else takes time. We all do some grieving after a relationship ends. Just go with the feelings!

Just because you're 14 doesn't mean you are void of feelings. You are a feeling individual just like everyone else.

Start seeing other girls talking to them, do activities to occupy your time and if you were really into here, it can take some months, but with your age everything is passenger. When u notice, you will not think anymore about her and you will be able to fall in love again. Believe me, It can seem that it will be the love of your live, but it isnt. You will fall in love sometimes before u know the keeper, at least that happens to the majority of people. Hope it helped

The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.

Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.
