Because Sharon Tate was going to give birth to the Antichrist?
Would that be Charles Manson?
Jesus never said anything, he never existed.
Jesus said his fathers house has many mansions or rooms. People at that time kept adding on to their houses as the extended family grew through birth and marriage. Jesus was taking what was then a current expression of a loving extended family to express that God wanted as many as possible to live with him.
because that is what he is going to do
Because that was his wish.
this is interesting, because different versions of the Bible dont always promise a mansion and if you scrutinze the idea not everyone is actually given a mansiin
Well the proper translation would be "abodes". Homes... spiritual homes... for those that would rule with him in heaven.
Because he was a carpenter.
Q: WHY DID JESUS SAY HE IS GOING TO PREPARE MANSONS?
A: To understand that, you need to also understand that Jesus wasn't a Jew. In fact, his ideas are consistent with M Theory of quantum mechanics - the many worlds theory where new ideas create new probabilities that are then living things.
You would have to understand the ancient Jewish wedding customs to understand what he's getting at. The church is the wife and Jesus is the husband. When a couple were betrothed, the husband went off to establish a career and either buy or build a home. The wife went back home to be taught how to be a good wife by the rest of the women in the village, and by her family. They existed in this married/unmarried state for up to two years, until the husband had prepared everything, then he came back home for the wife and they then had the wedding party, the ceremony and the consummation of the marriage.
Jesus is not just symbolically building a house, in comparison, he's building a mansion, for his church.
Because he was a complete and unqualified idiot
who had absolutely no idea what Heaven truly is, and no idea what he was talking about.
'jesus' little sales-sham involved nothing more than himself and his ego,
and all of the scummy little promises he made, should be ignored with the entirety of all lifetimes.
'jesus' said alot of things, and in proclaiming the preparation of 'mansions'
he once again lies unto all future ages through allegory, conjecture, and prose.
The bible, and the life of the character that dies within its pages,
continues to prove that 'jesus' never knew a thing.
'jesus' = Nothing ... nothing, at all.
