What's wrong with my dog?
There's something wrong with my dogs right ear. Whenever we touch it in a certain way, she whimpers and it is all clamped up while her other ear is loose and floppy. I didn't notice any redness or anything, and she is playing like normal. But she frequently shakes her head as if her ear is bothering her. We recently went on a trip, and she was just past the limit for going with us in the plane so she was in a crate on the bottom of the plane. And she was fine. I don't know what caused this and what it is. Any suggestions/ideas?

She could well have an infection but nobody here can do anything other than guess what's going on. It could be due to the pressure change during the flight (coming down) but the hold is pressurised just as in the cabin, so I'd not expect this to necessarily be what's going on. Take her to your vet for him to take a look -he has instruments that can let him look deep into the ear.
We have flown a number of our hounds both ways across the Atlantic, travelling in the hold and none has had an ear problem afterwards.
it might have gotten cut on something.
really its hard to tell since she was in a crate. you could just have a vet checkup, there only $50
No one can tell from here. Take the dog to a vet.
