當然有問題.
... to his "ten" friends...當事情尚未發生,你怎知道他會向10人道歉?
所以你應該說:
Tom has been apologizing to his friends for being late.
當然有問題.

應該是用「現在進行式」：
Tom is apologizing one by one to ten of his friends for being late.
這件事目前正在逐一進行當中。
也可用「現在完成式」：
Tom has already apologized to one of his ten friends for being late.
表示目前己經得到的結果。
