What causes a tire to rub against the well on sharp turns?

I currently have a '13 Toyota Camry and I haven't done any modifications on it. I was wondering what causes the tire to rub on sharp turns. When I do a sharp turn, the car does not seem to accelerate faster until later. Is there any way to fix this? Is it a tire or brake/accelerator problem?

Factory wheels & tires???

unless the tires are the OEM ones from the factory, it could be a # of reasons - low air pressure / incorrect tire size for the vehicle

You must have some aftermarket wheels/tires on there. Factory wheels/tires would never rub.

If they're factory units, I would suspect the car has been in an accident or otherwise has damaged suspension parts.

Wheel alignment is going bad

If there are NO, modifications, the ONLY way the tires CAN rub on the sides of the wheel well is if you turn the wheel beyond the design limits of the vehicle. Either the car HAS been modified, or the problem is the DRIVER, not the car.
