Where's the DDR (or the Graphic Card) on HP Compaq nx7300?

It does not have a graphic card it uses the Intel 945GM Express Chipset which is built in to the motherboard. Your computer is coming to the end of its life and a hairdryer is not going to save it.

As stated in my source (a PDF version of the manual for your laptop), your computer runs on "integrated graphics". This means that there is no graphics card separate from the CPU of your computer. Unfortunately, using a hair-dryer to heat up the CPU would only worsen problems. It sounds to me like your laptop is on it's last legs and I would highly advise finding another laptop in the near future. There is likely no fix to this at all, save for (if you want to go through the effort) finding a laptop cooler / lapdesk combo and putting it under your laptop. It sounds to me like your computer is fried though so this may make no difference at all. Also, "DDR" is just a specification of your RAM. RAM is usually 1-2 separate chips that clip into the main part of your motherboard. They would be obvious if you took the bottom off of your laptop.

Heat up the graphic card with a hair dry.

Usually the issue is that the card is getting TOO hot.

I would do some more research before taking a hair dryer to your DDR or video chip

Only works in some cases. Generally a waste of time. Save yourself a lot of hassle a get another computer.

ddr is memory - never heat any part of your laptop up. Update all your drivers using drivereasy - if its still faulty you have a physical screen or inverter fault. neither are hard to replace but screens can be expensive.
