How to download minecraft for free?

Well that would most likely be illegal, i am sure you are aware of this but... you can always pirate it from kat.cr but keep in mind that is ILLEGAL but not if you already own the game. i did it for when the launcher didn't have the option to download older versions for modding purposes. (I purchased the game) but you will need a client (torrent downloader.) Good luck

All you have to do get is a mojang account and download it you don't need to pay but you can't go on premium servers

Go to Kat.cr. you will need a software called utorrent to download from the site.

If you are looking for a working copy (not so legal) search any bit torrent website.
