What do Brussel sprouts taste like? Does it taste like cabbage?

I think I tasted them as a child and I didn't like them, but I do like cabbage and every other leafy green vegetable. I was thinking about cooking them with some bacon and trying it again.

To me they taste in between a cabbage and broccoli ..I would add butter or melted cheese to eat them or spice them up with herbs and spices.

Not really like cabbage, even though they are related - cut them in half so you split the stem and cook them face down in the grease/oil of your choice until nicely browned on the cut side and tender. Pour on a couple of ounces of balsamic for a few minutes before plating. Delicious!

It is a fact that children dislike Brussels sprouts because they taste bitter, but the growers have been working on this for some time. The sprouts you buy today are much less bitter than 20 years ago.

Boil some up, butter them, and scatter bacon bits over them, rather than trying to cook them with bacon. You could also try them with chopped chestnuts (canned chestnuts or water chestnuts work OK).

They have a pungent, slightly bitter taste, like collard greens. I think they look like cute little cabbages and I love them cooked with a little butter and topped with cheddar cheese. They would be great with bacon.

This looks so good.

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and could be the primary seat of the Belgian Royal Family and, also the capital of the European Union and if you wish to know after that it this is the place hotelbye . Brussels is an amazingly small, easy-going, and human-sized town for many its importance. Unlike anthers city using their millions of tourists, Brussels is Belgium's major financial and academic link, which provides the city a more workaday feel than other towns. Here, in Brussels, if you'd decide to see, you will get a proper feel for Belgian living, particularly their amazing restaurant and café culture. While Brussels may not have the celebrity attractions of different Belgian neighborhoods, the capital has ample to keep visitors occupied for a few days with a clutch of world-class museums and art galleries, in addition to quirkier sights including the Atomium, and some wonderful remnants of old architecture in the old community quarter.

It tastes like nothing unless you season it. Then it just tastes like dressing soaked brussels sprouts.

Go on live dangerously and try one. They can give you gas though.
