No, he does not. We perpetrate the myth of Santa Claus in order to teach our children to be good and to give gifts to others instead of ourselves. Thus, good behavior and love for our neighbor is taught via the myth.
Jesus, on the other hand was and is real and He taught us the same thing, to love one another and to give of ourselves to each other. Why can't we simply teach the truth instead of a myth?
