What's the best laptop I can get for under $400?

Laptops are on the rise again thanks to Windows 10's arrival, Nivida's efficient Maxwell graphics cards, and fresh new Skylake processors from Intel.

Acer laptops are good quality and reasonably priced.

Anyone that costs $399.

Check with tigerdirect.com. Besides new laptops, they sell refurbished ones. I have purchased two refurbs in the past year, one for myself (Win 7 Pro) and one for my next door neighbor Win 8.1, at less than half their "new" price. Typically they are laptops coming off of two-year corporate leases. Windoz 10 is still really freekin buggy. Try to stay away from it for now! Many stressed out people online seeking help with their Windoz 10 problems!
