What do points on Yahoo Answers do?

So you can ask questions. You can earn points by selecting the best answer to the question that you asked and for answering other peoples questions.

Bragging rights only after reaching Level 7.

Take you up a level.

Points allows a user to level up and be able to ask and answer more.

They can be used as a status symbol kind of to show how many question
You answered.

You can use them to ask questions too.
Other than that there is nothing else.

To earn points you have to answer. More points = more money
