He cannot read your mind or tell how you feel. You need to ask him for one very specific thing that you know he can do within a set time frame. If he has to try to figure out what it takes to make you satisfied, chances are good you will be disappointed. "Spend more time with me" is too vague. You need to be very specific as to how much time, when, and doing what.

Any statement you make about your feelings must be of the form "I feel ..." or "I am feeling ...". It cannot contain the word "you". You must own your own feelings. Nobody can make you feel any particular way. You choose that for yourself. You can also choose to have different feelings than the ones you currently have.
