Why do i find it so hard to find people that like my music?

So far ive found 2 persons that like my music, all other people i know either hate it or dont care about it, i like stuff like... get scared ,crown the empire, rise against, five finger death punch... yeah well screamo... metal... stuff like that :P

Some people don't like louder music. Or music that is "harder". I personally like metal but can't stand screamo. Screaming is fine just as long as it's not an excuse to make up for singing.

I like metal. I also like pop, especially Russian pop, rock, alternative, 80's, dubstep, instrumental..... My ipod is bipolar. :) It gets even more confused when I mix it up. Such as a nu metal dubstep mix lol...

Because its not the type of garbage being force fed to us by the media. We are all supposed to like hip hop, Adelle and lady gaga, don't you know.

Not everyone loves the same kind of music. Generally pop music and pop rock songs are the most popular due to the fact that they appeal to a larger audience. Music such as metal, punk and screamo have a more acquired taste. Personally I love my punk rock but not all agree that it's pleasing to their ears and that's okay, you know? Anyway I always find those genres of music of music that have a smaller following have the most interesting and passionate kinds of people about that particular genre.

I really don't understand some people when it comes to music. You don't want to be mainstream but at the same time you want, or even need, others to like the same thing you do. Can you see the irony in this?

Because it's junk. In fact, it's hardly even music at all; just noise. REAL music is bluegrass. Check out bands like Flatt Lonesome, Trinity River Band, and Balsam Range.

Maybe you're not loud enough in the right ways. Any decent devil lickers' music is typically banned from mainstream consumption by the powers which pee on their pants and are like a Bee
