I would prefer not to take anything that will constipate me. Any natural remedies out there?

Either Bentonite suspension [a form of liquid clay] or Metamucil.
Bentonite seems to normalize the intestinal functions no matter what is wrong.
Metamucil is advertised for constipation, but it helps diarrhea also. Its gel-like qualities absorb excess water and help the stool to form into a more solid shape. Just be sure to take it with water.

Best management is simply a high clear fluid intake. In the young and the elderly an electrolyte replacement solution is the ideal fluid. Milk must be avoided as should most solids, but a little dry toast or boiled rice is permissible.

Imodium helps in the short term even though it's not a natural remedy.
